I have been dabbling in weaving for a few years now, however my education in weaving started a long time ago. My mentor was Barbara Hulanicka, who offered weaving courses in an old synagogue in Barczewo. She was an artist who used a two warp technique.

Since nature is also my passion, in my professional life I engaged in environmental conservation. To explore these two different passions, and to understand the intricacies of these two worlds a person has to exhibit patience, attention to detail and an awareness of beauty.

Presently my main pursuit is small weaving forms. For my creations of decorative textiles, I use high quality materials. I prefer to use cotton yarn and a mixture of wool and acrylic yarn for my creations in order to allow for easy care and maintenance. Small ornamental tapestry is weaved using mostly wool fibers.
